Fuzzy electric guitar and a popping roots rock rhythm create an immediately memorable sound, and the idea of going back to spend a little more time with one who could have been “the one,” is treated expertly here. This is never saccharine, with lines like “last time I saw you were were both crying in the street,” it’ll get you thinking. And feeling.
