Heather Anne Lomax “Come Along”
Americana Highways is hosting this premiere of Heather Anne Lomax’s song “Come Along,” from Who Do You Think You Are, her forthcoming release for The Blackbird Label, which is set for release on August 28th. Who Do You Think You Are was produced by Zachary Ross, co-produced by Heather Anne Lomax; and recorded at Love Street Sound Studio. It was engineered by Steve Olmon, Jason Hiller, and Marco Moir; mixed by Jason Hiller and Zachary Ross; and mastered by Maor Appelbaum. This song will be available on June 5.
“Come Along” is Zachary Ross on electric guitars and backing vocal; Heather Anne Lomax on vocals and acoustic guitar; Jason Hiller on bass; Jerry Borge on keys; Rob Humphries on drums; and Mary Scholz on backing vocals.
As Heather tells us, “‘Come Along’ is a song really inspired by the Black Crowes. I wanted something uplifting and hopeful despite all of the darkness in the world.”
This is pure inspiration with a precise, Southern and blues rock confidence: “Come along, follow me, take my hand, I got what you need, I got what you need.” Heather Anne crafts memorable songs that hit heavy.
