Ruby & Sasha “Outdoor Shower”
Americana Highways is hosting this premiere of identical twins Ruby & Sasha’s song “Outdoor Shower” from their forthcoming album. It was produced and mixed by Daniel Markus and mastered by Elaine Rasnake.
“Outdoor Shower” is Ruby Rechler and Sasha Rechler on vocals; Daniel Markus on acoustic guitar, electric guitar, synthesizer, string arranging and drum programming; Sam Schuman on drums and drum programming; Natalia Catalan on bass; Theo Haber on violin, viola, and string arranging; and Andrew Cekala on cello.
As Ruby & Sasha tell us about the song, “’Outdoor Shower’ is a nostalgic song about the uncertainty that comes with growing up and leaving a chapter of your life behind. We wrote it after a trip with our friends, thinking about post-grad limbo and learning to let go of the pressure to have everything figured out. It’s an ode to being present and appreciating fleeting moments before they’re gone.”
