Americana Highways brings you this video premiere of Tom Faia and Kate Miller’s song “My Little Pal Mac,” from their recent release Risk It All For Love. The album was recorded, produced and mixed by Vince Sanchez in three locations: VSO Studio in Santa Cruz, CA; Faia House Studio in Pacific Grove, CA; and Europa Recording in Scalea, Italy.
“My Little Pal Mac” is Tom on guitar, harp, and vocals; Kate Miller on vocals; Jesse Diaz on bass; Vince Sanchez on percussion and drums.
The video was produced, directed, and edited with cinematography by Brent Florence. Our pets give us so much, and Tom’s sentiment is spot on lyrically here: “if that ain’t heaven you tell me what is.” This video was made in memory of his cat Mac, so sadly we also know Mac is no longer with Tom (and us), which makes the song all the more poignant. Touching and important.
