Groove on the early 70’s Creedance-inspired rhythm with a lighter touch. Justin Tipton & the Troublemakers threw down some swamp stomp on their latest production. It’s everywhere including the enjoyably cathartic refrain: “gimme back what’s mine.”
It took me a while to get this song to where I was happy with it. And even when we went to record it we had it sounding completely different. For some reason right before we started tracking I started playing it in a swampy, Creedance Clearwater kind of way and we just rolled with it. — Justin Tipton
