BB Palmer

Americana Highways brings you this video premiere of B.B. Palmer’s “Simulation Theory” from their forthcoming album Krishna Country. The album was engineered by John Paul “JP” Molpus, Wade Allen and Bernard Palmer Breitung; recorded at the Sound Wall; and mastered by Pat Patten.

Krishna Country is Bernard Palmer Breitung on acoustic guitar and vocals; Josh “Bucky” McKenzie on tele;
Taylor Hunnicutt on harmony vocals; Blake Robbins on bass;  Andrew Mohney on drums; Martin Sager on trombone; Jonathan Avant on trumpet; and Davis Little on sitar and pedal steel.

The video was produced by Ian Keel at OWAMB Media.  We all need to process the conspiracy theory phenomenon, and this is a good place to start.  A tongue-in-cheek lyrical analysis with deadpan classic country music is the perfect way to address the lunacy that we’ve found ourselves living within lately.  Thanks, B.B. Palmer!

This is a song that brings America’s wild conspiracy theories to light. The antithesis of the first single (‘Many Worlds Theory’), ‘Simulation Theory’ lives in a manic state of western cynicism and paranoia. A hymn for all our wayward brothers and sisters out there. The yin to Krishna Country’s yang. — Josh “Bucky” McKenzie (Telecaster guitar)
