Video: Bruce Sudano “It Don’t Take Much (Because I Do)”

Listen & Watch Reviews Video Premieres

On Valentine’s Day, we invite you to enjoy this video of Bruce Sudano’s “It Don’t Take Much (Because I Do),” from his forthcoming album Spirals Vol.2: Time & the Space In Between.  The seven-song album follows Spirals Vol. 1: Not a Straight Line to Be Found, which was released last fall. The new collection was produced by Steve Addabbo (Suzanne Vega, Shawn Colvin, Jeff Buckley) at Shelter Island Sound in New York, Randy Ray Mitchell (Billy Bob Thornton) at Akadak Studio in Los Angeles, and Mike Montali (lead vocalist of Hollis Brown) at the Creamery Studios in Brooklyn.

“It Don’t Take Much (Because I Do)” sung here in the video was produced by Randy Ray Mitchell and is Bruce Sudano on acoustic guitar and piano; and Randy Ray Mitchell on electric guitar, bass, and drums.  It was recorded at Akadak Studio, LA.

Just in time for Valentine’s Day, catch a swing groove in Bruce Sudano’s heartland country rock.  The video is an animated tongue-in-cheek homage of sorts to a special, very relatable cat.  Our pets give us so much really, and this feline video star emphasizes that genuine connection with our pets, above the merry quality of the video.  Sudano’s fluid vocals are sweet candy for your ears, as he sings a very Petty-esque love song.

The clever video is courtesy of Elliot Mason, as it recounts the escapades of Bruce Sudano’s alter ego “Super Bruce.”  Watch and see what we mean.
