Video Premiere: Boys Club for Girls’ “The Weatherman”

Listen & Watch Video Premieres

Americana Highways brings you this video premiere of Boys Club for Girls’ “The Weatherman.” “The Weatherman” was written by Amie Miriello, Vanessa Olivarez & Jason Dmuchowski; produced by Tim Craven.

The video was directed & edited by The Bishops.  With the musicians walking through puddles in the rain with bubble umbrellas, playing acoustic guitar in the gravel driveway and smoking cigarettes, the entertainment value of the video is sky high.  There is an aspect of whimsical merriment to the Boys Club for Girls, even as the dead serious electric guitar kicks in.

Human emotions change like the weather. This song is an analogy for the inevitable bouts of depression, that can be followed by manic joy. This was the first song we wanted to release, and the first video we wanted to put out. It was a 2 day video shoot in the pouring rain and we both got sick… all for the cause! — Boys Club for Girls
