Song Premiere: Cave Flowers’ “Country Fan”

Listen & Watch Song Premieres

Americana Highways brings you this song premiere of the Cave Flowers’ “Country Fan” from their upcoming self-titled album.  Cave Flowers  was recorded at Heritage Recording Company and engineered by Chris Rondinella (with additional engineering by Chris Delgoto at Dark Vision Media) and mastered by JJ Golden at Golden Mastering.  The cover art is by The Real Theory.

“Country Fan” is Andy McAllister on vocals and acoustic guitar; Henry Derek Elis on electric guitar; Ben Coil on bass; Ryan Wykert on drums and backing vocals; and Jon Niemann on piano.

With a seriously funky Southern rock groove, Cave Flowers will brighten your darkest winter day. “Country Fan” is an outlaw drinking song, and the entire album is guaranteed to be the highlight soundtrack of your next party; put it on and watch everyone there asking where they can get their copy.

This song is from our upcoming album due out Jan 31st, 2020. We tracked the record live with Chris Rondinella who got his start engineering with Levon Helm – one of our heroes. Recording live just helped us keep it loose and not overthink things. Country Fan is very much a love letter to all the 70’s country funk records we love. — Andy McAllister
