I know the hard parts in life are supposed to shape us into better human beings, but “Skip To The Bow” is my admission that most of the time I’d actually rather avoid the pain and skip to the part in my story where I get to take a bow and receive the applause. This song ended up being the last track I wrote for the new record. It’s the kind of song I couldn’t have written 5 years ago when I began work on this record. — Ben Thomas
