Album Premiere: Daemon Chili’s “Live in Lowell”

Album Premieres Listen & Watch

Americana Highways brings you this premiere of Daemon Chili’s album Live in Lowell.  Live in Lowell was produced by Daemon Chili, recorded 2/23/19 at Warp and Weft in Lowell, Mass, mixed and mastered by Sir Bob Nash at Wonka Sound, with album artwork by Linda McCluskey and graphic design by John V. Boys.  The album’s personnel is Michael Dion on rhythm guitar/lead vocals/harmonica, Jes Sheldon on backing vocals/percussion, Jay Breen on drums/vocals, Jay Moretti on lead guitar, Jay Samiagio on bass, with Nick Heys on organ/piano and Matt Bailin on baritone sax.

Live albums, done well, capture that raw energy that’s so healthy and cathartic in a live show, and the entire  Live in Lowell album captures that to roots rock, groovin’ perfection.   Hailing from the Boston area, if you haven’t yet, start following Daemon Chili pronto!  The sax is the icing on the irreverent, intoxicating bluesy rock cake.

Live in Lowell is Daemon Chili‘s 3rd full-length album. It was recorded in February of 2019 during Winterfest in Lowell, MA. The band is also releasing individual videos of the entire show online via their official website: https://www.daemonchili.rocks/videos. We look forward to sharing it with you here on Americana Highways.   — Michael Dion
