Listen & Watch Song Premieres

Americana Highways brings you this premiere of Season Ammons’ song  “Show Me Your Love” from their upcoming release Steel Hearts. Steel Hearts was produced, engineered and mixed by David Percefull.  “Show Me Your Love” is Season Ammons on vocals, Scott Rockwood on electric guitar, Roberto Padron on drums and percussion,  Glenn Fukunaga on upright bass, and  David Percefull on Hammond organ, electric guitar, electric sitar, celeste; with  Francis King-Smith-Juno on Rhodes electric piano and Steinway grand piano.

Opening with a hushed blues organ and classic blues vocal harmonies, Season Ammons extends an enticing invitation on “Show Me Your Love.” Alternately wide-open and boundless, and then overflowing with the energy of a windstorm, Steel Hearts is a Texas landscape range of unadulterated experiences all rolled into one.

‘Show Me Your Love’ is a feel-good song with a fun and flirty vibe. While writing this song, I was trying to capture the innocence of a new romance and give a fresh twist on an age old emotion. From my experience and perspective, when you’re first falling in love you can’t hide it, there’s a giddy urgency that overcomes you. You’re driven by a desire to get to the source of what you think love is all about. You need that connection on a personal, emotional and physical level and you want that person to reciprocate by showing you who they are inside and out. — Season Ammons
