As Digney tells us, “When I finished recording “American Rose” I knew I had something special. Reviews began piling up, calling the song beautiful and “cinematic.” I knew I would need a video to go along with the song but couldn’t see how I was going to pull it off. As a long shot, I sent the song to and old friend, Luis Aira, who was the director of my MTV hit “The Girl with the Curious Hand.” Luis had been working successfully in LA for many years directing films and commercials. Surprisingly, he got right back to me, and although we hadn’t spoken in over thirty years, it was like we had just chatted a few days ago. The song had inspired him and he was ready to go to work on it. I was a magical combination. In my opinion, he created a visual masterpiece to go along with the song that is both beautiful and uplifting.”

A video of a reel-to-reel video sets the stage perfectly for this song of timelessness of restlessness. Daydreamers will unite behind this vignette telling the mythical tale of leaving the small town for a bigger dream in Hollywood, or really anywhere. Thoughtfully played and thoughtfully arranged.
