Americana Highways brings you this premiere of Jon Dee Graham’s song “Lost in the Flood,” from his forthcoming album only dead for a little while. only dead for a little while is due to be available on November 10 via New West subsidiary Strolling Bones Records. It was produced by Jon Dee, Michael Hardwick, and Stuart Sullivan except for “brave as her (Marie Colvin)” which was produced by John Chipman at Easy Day Recordings in Austin. The album was recorded and engineered by Stuart Sullivan except for “brave as her (Marie Colvin)” which was recorded and engineered by John Chipman. Mastering was courtesy of Carter Greeves.
Musicians on the project are Jon Dee Graham on guitars and vocals; Michael Hardwick on electric, acoustic and Dobro resonator guitars, pedal steel, and lap steel; William Harries Graham on guitars and vocals; Joey Shuffield on drums; Andrew Duplantis on bass guitar and vocals; John Chipman on drums, percussion, and vocals; Chris Searles on drums and percussion; Larisa Montanaro on vocals; Bukka Allen on accordion and keys; Bobby Daniel on bass guitar and vocals; Kevin Russell on Mardi Gras vocals; Alice Spencer on fancy lady vocals; and Kathy McCarty on great genius vocals.
