Dwight Twilley – “No Place Like Home”

Americana Highways presents this video premiere of Dwight Twilley’s song “No Place Like Home,” from his recently released double album The Best of Dwight Twilley – The Tulsa Years (1999-2016) Volume 1. The album was produced by Dwight and Jan Twilley.  Having been making music for more than 50 years and still going strong, Dwight has this new one to share along with a slew of tour dates this summer.

“No Place Like Home” is Bobby Gianetti on bass;  Bernie Pershey on drums; Susan Cowsill on backing vocals; and John Duva, Danny Johnson, Dwight Twilley, and Richie Podolor on guitars.

The video was produced and created by ZOX.  The video displays footage of Tulsa, Oklahoma and also of Dwight’s second home in his recording studio there.  One of the founding fathers of power pop, this song heralds his return to Tulsa some years back after some time in LA.  This tune’ll get stuck in your head immediately as you think about whatever place you call home.  Rock out and then check out the album too.

I’ve been been on the road so long, there is no place like home. -Dwight Twilley
