Masorti

Video Premiere: Masorti “Arrowhead”

Listen & Watch Video Premieres

Americana Highways presents this premiere of Masorti’s song “Arrowhead,” from his forthcoming EP 80 East, due to be released in May. The album was ecorded at Mission Sound Studios. Mixed, produced by Conrad Korsch

“Arrowhead” is Phillip Masorti on vocals and guitar; Brian Delaney (New York Dolls, Melissa Etheridge) on drums, Oz Noy (Cat Stevens, Andy Grammer, Nelly Furtado)on guitars, Conrad Korsch (Rod Stewart, Cyndi Lauper) on bass; and Bob Franceschini (Paul Simon, Mike Stern, Victor Wooten)on sax.

The video was directed, shot and edited by Dave Fields of Fields Music Inc.  Follow Masorti through the figurative and literal fields on this video as he reminisces in reflective song with dreamy nostalgia. Enjoy the group of heavy-hitting musicians who came together to create the reflection within.

I’m asking the listener to see Arrowhead rather than to hear Arrowhead. It’s the image I’m trying to evoke and, while to me the mystical quality of the music creates a certain dreamscape, it’s the story of generations before, during, and after that are the essence of the track. Will they find their Arrowheads? — Masorti
