Video Premiere: Ryan Curtis “All Alone”

Listen & Watch Song Premieres

Americana Highways brings you this video premiere of Ryan Curtis’ song “All Alone,” from his upcoming album Rust Belt Broken Heart. The album is slated for release on American Standard Time Records on July30th.

“All Alone” was written by Ryan Curtis, who is also on vocals, acoustic and electric guitar, with Dave Manion and Tyler McFarlane on electric guitars, Daniel Blumenfeld  on organ and Rhodes; David Henry on backing vocals; Cooper Trail on drums and Nevada Sowle on bass.

The video was shot, edited and directed by Ryan Bayne. Ryan Curtis’ growly grit will clutch at your core in this classic, ominous Western number.

“All Alone” is a song I originally wrote for an old band of mine, Curtis/Sutton & The Scavengers. We broke up before it ever got recorded, so I had a lot of fun revisiting it on the record. This tune in particular, really took on a life of its own in the studio, culminating with a bit of a spaghetti western freak out at the end of the song. Lyricly it’s just a classic country tale, about loneliness, rambling and hauling on down the road. — Ryan Curtis
