Video Premiere: Brother Starling “Madmen”

Listen & Watch Video Premieres

Americana Highways presents this video premiere of Brother Starling’s “Madmen” from their recent release The Weight of Change. The album was produced and engineered by Derek Chafin, recorded and mixed at Barn Sound in Newtown Square, PA. Mastering was done by Chris Muth at Taloowa Corp.

“Madmen” is Geremiah Giampa on vocals and acoustic guitar; Joe Ryan on harmonies; Mike Rusch on electric guitar; Brian Finucane on bass; Tom Mellon on drums and harmonies, and Kenny Kearns on organ.

The video was produced and edited by Geremiah Giampa.  With the funkiest of grooves, Brother Starling will switch off the day’s depression, just pop in The Weight of Change and let them work their magic.

Lyrically, the song is an observational take on the White House, the media, mass shootings, lawmakers, and the citizens who carry the burden of it all. Visually, I was trying to capture those concepts in a quirky, yet impactful way. — Geremiah Giampa
