Come on Angels was recorded at Miner Street Recordings, produced by Brian McTear, engineered and mixed by Matt Poirer, and mastered by Ryan Schwabe. “Come on Angels” is Mighty Joe Castro on lead vocals and guitar; Dallas on drums; H00V3R on doghouse bass and backing vocals; and Mike Stingle on guitar and backing vocals.

Due to the COVID19 quarantine, we didn’t have the option of filming a traditional music performance video. I’ve always been fascinated by iconic movie title sequences, especially from the 1960s and 70s – artists like Saul Bass, Pablo Ferro, Sandy Dvore. Films like Charade, Woman of Straw, Anatomy of a Murder, Gidget, It’s a Mad Mad World – and later films like Catch Me If You Can. So I decided to put together a lyric video that paid homage to that style. I had never used After Effects before, so the whole thing was done on the fly, a total DIY “learn as you go” experience.
