Video Premiere: Zach Aaron’s “Southeast Texas Trinity River Bottom Blues”

Listen & Watch Video Premieres

Americana Highways brings you this video premiere of Zach Aaron’s song ”Southeast Texas Trinity River Bottom Blues” from his forthcoming album Fill Dirt Wanted.  “Southeast Texas Trinity River Bottom Blues” is Zach Aaron on vocals and guitars; Kevin Foster on guitars, dobros, fiddles, mandolins, banjos, and vocals; David Leach on double bass and piano; Giovanni Carnuccio III on drums, percussion and vocals; Lauren January on vocals; and Steve Boaz on percussion.  Fill Dirt Wanted was produced and arranged by Giovanni Carnuccio III; recorded and mixed by Steve Boaz at Breathing Rhythm Studios in Norman, Oklahoma; and mastered by Chris Henderson at Hendyamps Studios.

This video was produced by Giovanni “Nooch” Carnuccio III for HonkyTonk Laboratory in association with Founders City Films.  In multiple breathtaking country setting, the video supports the walking blues style of this song. Zach Aaron has written perfectly deadpan songs that deliver a combination of dry humor and delightful music.

I wrote this song with two good friends, Josh Delafuente and Nigel Carey (who has since passed away from cancer and is the subject of another track on the album, “Shelter of the Storm”). Nigel used to own a gas station in Cleveland, Texas, so he had a bunch of stories about some “interesting” people. This song is basically an amalgamation of all of our river bottom stories mashed into one — everything in here is 100% true.
