Song Premiere: Linn Jennings’ “Won’t Let Go of Me”

Listen & Watch Song Premieres

Americana Highways brings you this premiere of Linn Jennings’ song “Won’t Let Go of Me” from her upcoming album What Lies Ahead due on February 29th.  What Lies Ahead was recorded, mixed, and co-produced by Beth Kille at Studio Gusto; mastered by Jake Johnson at Paradyme Productions. The cover art is courtesy of Morgan Petrovich.

“Won’t Let Go of Me” is Linn Jennings on guitar, piano and vocals, and Jenna Joanis on cajon and bass.  In compelling guitar and cajon beats, Linn Jennings has crafted a highly memorable album.  “Won’t Let Go of Me” is one of those uncannily songs that are instantly familiar.

I wrote this song for a friend who fosters kids. She wanted to have a song that could both capture the feeling of sadness and hopefulness that comes with foster kids returning to their homes. The lyrics are about how there are some people that you’ll only cross paths with for a short time, but the memories of those people will often stay with you for much longer. — Linn Jennings
