Americana Highways brings you this premiere of Mike Frazier’s two song mini EP: “Better Off This Way” recorded with Erik Romero in New Jersey, and “Denali,” which was recorded on 1” tape with Danny Gibney in Harrisonburg, Virginia, and art by Ursula Bell. “Better Off This Way” is Joe Mclaughlin on drums, Erik Romero on bass, PK Lavengood on guitar and Mark Masefield on organ; “Denali” is Joe Mclaughlin on drums, Danny Gibney on bass and Wurlitzer, Melissa Wright on harmonies, and Will Brown on guitar. Both with Mike Frazier on guitar and vocals.

With an instantly catchy groove and intriguing vocals, Mike Frazier will speak to your soul from the very first note in this pair of songs. The lyrics will move you and the shakers will seal the deal. Listen and see.

I tried to create more of a sonic atmosphere with both of these tracks to reflect the freeness that the characters might have been feeling. — Mike Frazier
