The harmonies are gritty and simultaneously fluid and the musicianship is swingy and bright with layers on Jon LaDeau’s Roads. Ranging from the heartfelt to the funky and activating everything in between, this album is one to watch this fall.
Roads is a journey through the inner and outer roads we all travel. Like any good road trip, these songs find me traveling with friends in the form of duets with some of my favorite singers and the band filling in the open spaces in between. — Jon LaDeau
