The Lexington Stretch was produced by: Kurt Jorgensen & Brianna Tagg -Jorgensen and recorded at Cream and Sugar Recording in St. Paul, MN. “Voo Doo” is Brianna Tagg- Jorgensen on lead vocal and acoustic guitar; Kurt Jorgensenon backup vocals, electric guitar & percussion; Jeff King on clarinets, Scott Snyder on trumpets, Mike Haynes on trombone, Brian Wicklund on violin, Andy Irvine on upright bass, Stephen Mckinstry on pump organ; and Katie Gearty, Sean Severson and Fred Anderson on backup vocals.
With dramatic footage from a old muted jazz tones and calls to “Doctor John” and voodoo queen Marie Laveau, the Jorgensen’s lovely sassy vocal blend, punctuated with muted brass, will transport you back a hundred years. The New Orleans-infusion will evoke your late night hauntings as the Jorgensens cast their spell on you. The video itself adds to the hypnotic effect with its foreboding light and angles.
