Americana Highways brings you this video premiere of Pint and a Half’s “Not to Forget,” the title track from the band’s upcoming release on Colorado label Howlin’ Dog Records, which will be available on September 9th. The album was engineered and produced by Don Richmond (Howlin’ Dog Records, The Rifters) and Duke Sheppard.  “Not to Forget” is Duke Sheppard on guitar and drums, Don Richmond on mandolin and dobro, Jahil Bragassa on stand up bass; with vocals by Duke and Tami Sheppard. The video was created by Robin James.

Pint and a Half delivers mountain music storytelling in highly infectious style.  The video is layers of mountain footage and images of a lovers’ road trip.  Not to Forget is truly unforgettable, order your copy before they sell out!

This song is one of the most personal, autobiographical songs I’ve written. Tami and I married young, eager to start our lives together. We left the Midwest with nothing but some clothes, a couple of bikes, and an ancient old RV, determined to build a new life exploring the Great American West, and we did it; but somewhere along the way life happened. It’s about not losing sight of what is important to you. It’s about realizing that it’s never too late to get back on track. — Duke Sheppard

Pint & a Half will begin a tour that will take them from Denver to the St. Louis area, Southern Illinois, then back through New Mexico and Colorado for the Fall. You can check it out and order the physical CD here: or download at
