This song is one of the most personal, autobiographical songs I’ve written. Tami and I married young, eager to start our lives together. We left the Midwest with nothing but some clothes, a couple of bikes, and an ancient old RV, determined to build a new life exploring the Great American West, and we did it; but somewhere along the way life happened. It’s about not losing sight of what is important to you. It’s about realizing that it’s never too late to get back on track. — Duke Sheppard
