“Broken” lays down a rock ‘n roll foundation for the confusion that reigns when you don’t even realize something is broken. Ally Venable kicks up the energy on the guitar while her vocals trade off between badass and broken, while the rhythm section keeps the rock and roll rolling.
“Broken” was such a fun song to write and a fun one to play as well. This song is about how sometimes in life, we don’t realize something is wrong at the time, so it is difficult to make it right again or fix when you don’t know that its broken.
