Listen & Watch Song Premieres

Americana Highways hereby presents the premiere of Anthony Geraci’s “Too Many Bad Decisions” from his upcoming album Why Did You Have To Go” ( Shining Stone Records), due out on September 21.  The bluesy album was produced by, and features, Anthony Geraci on keys: and co-stars a fantastic line-up including Kid Ramos,  Sugarray Rayford, Jim Bott, Sugar Ray Norcia, Michelle “Evil Gal” Wilson, Willie J. Campbell, and more. This track includes Geraci, with Dennis Brennan on vocals, “Monster Mike” Welch on guitar and rhythmists Michael “Mudcat” Ward on bass and Marty Richards on drums.  Geraci traditionally hand picks his lead vocalists, and this one with Dennis Brennan is wonderful.  The whole album is sure to be a delight.  This song is a bluesy swingin’ tongue-in-cheek rocker, full of lyrical twists and wry word plays that’ll have you grinning.

“Too Many Bad Decisions” is a fun song that I think everyone can relate to-we’ve all made bad decisions but we keep the faith knowing everything’s going to be alright. For all my songs, I always have in my mind who I would like to sing them. For this song, I knew who I wanted to sing it-and luckily he complied. The wispy vocals of Boston legend Dennis Brennan and Monster Mike Welch’s Piedmont Style guitar playing give the song its spirited, uplifting feeling.” — Anthony Geraci

Evidently Anthony Geraci really has learned to surrender individual will to the will of the music, as he says on the album.  He has clearly invited in all the talent required to share the roomy spotlight and make the music shine. Give “Too Many Bad Decisions” a listen right here:
