Redd & The Paper Flowers Kick Off Their Dead Little Things Album Release Tour
Redd & The Paper Flowers kicked off their Dead Little Things album release tour on September 4th in Oklahoma City, before heading up into the mountains of Colorado and Montana for multiple dates. They then dropped down into the Texas panhandle for a pair of dates, before circling back for another stop in OKC before wrapping up the first leg in Kansas on September 28th .
I can’t recommend this band enough. This was my fifth time seeing them this year, which is a record for me if I take the Grateful Dead and related bands out of the equation. Truth is, if they played here again next week, I’d go see them again. They’re just that damn good.
The band’s sophomore EP release, Dead Little Things, is due October 23rd via Gitcha Records, and follows the band’s phenomenal 2025 debut, Appalachia Bell Jar. Hailing from Knoxville, TN, the band is comprised of Katie Adams on upright bass and vocals, Colleen d’Alelio on cello and vocals, Gavin Gregg on mandolin and vocals and Redd Daugherty on guitar and lead vocals. The new EP is split between six studio cuts, paired with the same six songs recorded live at Pink Moon Sound, a Knoxville studio. The songs reflect the messy, unmanageable way grief and love intersect and interact. Keep your eyes peeled for a full review the week of the album’s release.
The band’s next leg of their Dead Little Things tour gets back under way in early October starting at Dollywood’s Harvest Festival, followed by dates in North Carolina, Illinois, Ohio, Virginia and their hometown album releaae show October 24th in Knoxville, with even more dates to follow in November. Dead Little Things is available for pre-order via the band’s website, where you can also check out all their upcoming tour dates.
