Brooke Moriber – “More Love”
Americana Highways is hosting this premiere of Brooke Moriber’s song “More Love,” from her forthcoming album due later this year. “More Love” was produced by Dave Pittenger; mixed by Jim Cooley and Dave Pittenger; engineered by Chris Utley, Matt Anthony and Dave Pittenger; and mastered by Greg Calbi.
“More Love” is Brooke on vocals; Carl Miner on acoustic guitar; Devin Malone on electric guitar; Kip Allen on drums; and Dave Pittenger on bass, electric guitar, keys, programming, and percussion.
By the time Brooke was 8, she was already acting in musicals on Broadway; later she went on to open for the Gin Blossoms and she is still on the rise to this very day. On “More Love,” opening with touches of electric guitar, Brooke’s throaty vocals are comforting with the song’s message: “it’s time to put away the anger, stop talking all at once: We need love, maybe more than ever.” This rings very true.
“More Love” is a song for this moment – reminding us what we can do together if we just open our hearts. It’s an anthem that demands that we not only recognize how similar we all are but also that we can love each other for our differences. – Brooke Moriber
