Brian Iannucci videos

Americana Highways turns the limelight on Brian Iannucci’s videos for his songs  “Pour One Out” and “Why the Hell Should I Do Anything Else?”  from his recently released album Double Felony.  Double Felony packed a wallop from this Florida country boy with 24 songs and Brian primarily on piano and vocals. “Why the Hell Should I Do Anything Else?” was written by Brian as well. “Pour One Out” was written by Brian Iannucci and Scott Triplett.

“Why the Hell Should I Do Anything Else?” was engineered, mixed, and mastered by Rory Rositas at OmniSound Studios.  It was solely produced by Brian.  For the album, the executive producer was Jim Scarbrough.  The album was mixed by Josh Emmons; and mastered by Rory Rositas at OmniSound Studios, Nashville, TN.

Iannucci affectionally calls his label Mootown Cowboy Records, for his style of country music.  It’s some high energy wailin’!  According to Brian, “Why the Hell Should I Do Anything Else?” is autobiographical to an extent, but it sure is relatable to us all.  Life is full of tough choices.

“Why the Hell Should I Do Anything Else?” is a personal anthem for me. It tells the story of my ‘Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde’ life as a university business professor and a musician, and expresses my love for performing and songwriting. It is also my way of lamenting my career choice to set music aside at a young age and pursue a career in business. Looking back, I should have devoted myself to my music career much earlier. Who knows where I’d be now? — Brian Iannucci
