Americana Highways presents this video premiere of Wild Rabbit Salad’s song “Love Child,” from their forthcoming album Ramblin‘, due to be released this summer. The album was produced, recorded and mixed with Michael Mikulka at Lucky Run Studios in Houston, Texas.
“Love Child” is Marietta Roebuck on vocals; Buck Roebuck on vocals and guitar; Willie Favero on bass; Marty Naul on drums.
The video was created by Sway Design. The song explores the concept that a love child, despite the loving name, often feels like an outsider. The video uses the starkness of neon and rainy downpours to underscore the detachment we all sometimes feel in this very relatable song.
“Love Child” is about misfits finding themselves as individuals and in spite of all the obstacles joyously soar together. – Bucky Goldberg
