Americana Highways is hosting this premiere of Andrew Love Jackson’s song “Your Kind of Love” from his forthcoming album This is Love, produced and mixed by Don Gunn (Peter Frampton), and due to be released on July 8. It was mastered by Justin Perkins.
“Your Kind of Love” is Andrew Jackson Love on vocals; Jerry Battista on guitars; Don Gunn on drums and percussion; Alisa Milner on fiddle; Emily McVicker on backing vocals; and Greg Youtsey on bass. “Your Kind of Love” will have you thinking of country dancehalls, shy smiles, and the hopeful easy relationships that can sometimes happen in life when you’re lucky. “Take a chance on me, hold my hand…” and the nice old fashioned lines: “maybe we can catch a picture show, float the river baby take it slow” will have the summer stars shining in your eyes.
“Your Kind of Love”…WOW-where do I start-I absolutely love this song-this has all the human elements of attraction-the creativity of a desire which seems to get lost in the definition of a relationship. The shuffle provides a great dance-the musicianship is phenomenal…just a fun, down to earth tune to listen to-as well as play! One of my faves on this record. — Andrew Jackson Love
