Recording “Wildfire Mind” at Ocean Way Studio in Nashville is one of my all time favorite memories. It was a last minute session right before Christmas. I called up my co-writer and producer Sean Trainor, my now husband Brian Oakes engineered and we got some friends together to track live instruments for the song. Nothing beats the magic that happens when you bring talented musicians together who bring their creativity, skill and breathe new life into the song. And to get to record your original music in such a historic studio like Ocean Way was a dream, definitely a ‘pinch me’ kinda moment.”
I am so grateful to work with Jay Curtis Miller who shot, directed and edited the music video for “Wildfire Mind.” He is brilliant and I trust his eye and vision completely. The song is all about women empowerment and tells a story about a free spirited woman who is unapologetically herself. Lora who is starring in the music video fits the video perfectly. She is beautiful inside and out and her inner strength shines. We drove two hours to Fall Creek Falls to film me performing on this cliff and it had the most spectacular view. — Steffi Jeraldo
