Listen & Watch Song Premieres

Americana Highways presents this premiere of Leah Belle Faser’s song “Back Home” from her forthcoming album Crossing Hermi’s Bridge. Crossing Hermi’s Bridge was recorded at The Insanery in Nashville, TN; produced, engineered, and mixed by Casey Wood; mastered by Jim DeMain at Yes Master Studios.

“Back Home” is Leah Belle Faser on lead and background vocals; Hoke Faser on background vocals; Nick Buda on drums; Tim Marks on bass; Casey Wood on percussion; Billy Nobel on keys; and  Kerry Marx and Eddie Heinzelman on guitars. With her dynamic honeyed vocals, Leah Belle Faser funnels the bittersweet nostalgia of longing for home.

“There’s no place like home.” Dorothy spoke the truth and, like the Wicked Witch, my crystal ball once held a vision that was pretty clear – me going off far away to live my glamorous adult life in the big city! As I’ve gotten older, that vision has become more and more cloudy. I wrote “Back Home” as I questioned whether it that was more of someone else’s fantasy and less of the reality I want for my life. I do not know the answer yet but I do know I love the warmth and comfort of my family home. — Leah Belle Faser
