This interpretation of “High and Dry” was recorded live in January, 2020 at Vega Studios in Athens, GA. It was produced and mixed by Jared Putnam. I don’t do many covers live, but ‘High and Dry’ by Radiohead is one of the few I do.’ ‘The Bends’ was a huge influence on my songwriting, so it was an easy song for me to make my own. Around a year ago, I tried to record it, in the studio, but just didn’t feel like it came across as well as it did live. I played a show in Athens, Georgia, in January, just before I had to get off the road because of the pandemic, and I happened to get a solid recording of the room.” – Jared Putnam, The March Divide
