This song has been such a big part of my story and career. I remember very clearly the first time I performed it. Not only did I feel it so deeply on stage but, after the show it was clear that so many people in the audience could relate. It’s one of those sad songs that at the end of the day, reminds you that you aren’t the only one going through a hard time. I play this song on the road a ton but, a few weeks of tour my piano broke so I had to improvise on guitar. It became it’s own version and since then I’ve had fans request it. It felt right to release it before this upcoming album. I’m so thankful to have such an incredible personal connection to the fans and hope that if anyone hears this new take, they will know that they aren’t alone either. – Shannon LaBrie
