I feel like I’ve been in a holding pattern of sorts in my life long before the pandemic started. So, while having some experience with this high level of discomfort that personal growth or hardship brings makes it a little bit easier, I’ve also been caught up in uncertainty for longer than some people. I suppose this song was a bit of a surrender of control – I can’t fix certain circumstances, all I can do is take small steps, trust my intuition, and hope that I can move forward some day soon. — Lesley Barth
