Song Premiere: Listen to Chicago Farmer’s “Dirtiest Uniforms” Ahead of New Live Release

Listen & Watch Song Premieres

Cody Diekhoff, a.k.a Chicago Farmer, is set to release a double disc live set of albums, Quarter Past Tonight, on August 3rd;  and we here at Americana Highways are pleased to present you with a premiere listen to one of its tracks.  This track, along with the others, captures Cody Diekhoff completely solo.  The entire album was recorded live on December 1st and 2nd, at Chicago Farmer’s two sold out shows at the Apollo Theatre in Peoria, IL.  The performance was recorded and mixed by Chris Harden of The I.V. Labs Studios in Chicago, and has been kept true to the original performances, Disc One being the first performance, and Disc Two being the second. The upcoming album features many of his fans’ favorites along with three new originals;  “Dirtiest Uniforms” is one of those originals.

Chicago Farmer has a truly eclectic style that echoes Arlo Guthrie’s with a contemporary twist, and his storytelling is presented in clear syncopated cadence.   And in his words:

“A tip of the cap to the hard working folks who have inspired and encouraged me to keep on truckin’ down these Americana Highways”– Chicago Farmer
