“Tennessee Nights” is Clay Rose (singer/acoustic guitar), Donny Ambory (electric guitar), Scott Coulter (keyboards), Bradley Morse (bass), Kevin Matthews (drums/percussion), Art Edmaiston + Mark Franklin (horns).

This video was produced and directed by Jesse Borrell. Sometimes in a life well-lived, clandestine adventures – outlaw moonshine style, in a psychedelic bus – pop up. “Tennessee Nights” recounts one such escapade with rollicking keys, a touch of horns, and all in all, a real good time.  The video brings the whole venture into a short film of sorts while the song rolls out the tale.

“Tennessee Nights” is a semi-autobiographical telling of my brief rendezvous with Caroline and Travis, a couple of drug-running, hopeless romantics in the hills of Tennessee. Fueled by love and the immortality of youth, the three of us found adventure and fleeting fortune running hot goods, by cover of night, down the backroads from Nashville to Birmingham. But the road does not go on forever, friends, and every party must end. – Clay Rose
