Lindsay Jordan – “Trace the Moon”

Americana Highways brings you this premiere of Lindsay Jordan’s song “Trace the Moon,” the title track for her album which is set for release on May 30. The album was produced, engineered, mixed and mastered by Al Cofre; and co-produced by Boris Ivanov and Lindsay Jordan with additional engineering by Tom Reock.

“Trace the Moon” is Lindsay Jordan on lead and backing vocals; Al Cofre on acoustic guitars and percussion; Chris Holland on electric guitar; Boris Ivanov on piano and organ;  Olga Yanovich on violin; Steve Schupsky on drums; and Hal Jordan on bass.  Acoustic guitar blends with the piano and organ like the happy couple that this song speaks of as it traces the thought patterns we follow with longing and hope for love. Lindsay’s vocal tone holds comfort and promise which is exceptionally compelling to listen to.

I wrote “Trace the Moon” about my struggles in finding myself when I was younger, and the dream that I’d have someone who I could share my life with. Someone who really sees me, and meets all of my imperfections with love. I now dedicate the song to my love, Boris, who also co produced and played organ/piano on the track. – Lindsay
