Will Carter Band- “Your Love Looks Good On Me”
Americana Highways brings you this premiere of Will Carter Band’s song “Your Love Looks Good On Me” from their new album Had It All Wrong, which comes out July 5th on Smith Music Group. The album was produced by Derek Hames and Chad Mauldin; mixed by John Shelton and Chad Mauldin; and mastered by John Moran.
“Your Love Looks Good On Me” is Will Carter on lead vocals and rhythm guitar; Dillan Dostal on lead guitar and vocals; Blake “Bino” Debina on fiddle and vocals; Jacob Lee on drums and vocals; and Bobby Tapia on bass. A steady drivin’ energy will have you up on your feed and dancing from the start, with hot Southern rock, electric guitar riffs and, no one ever looked better. “Everything’s changed, ain’t changed a thing, your love, your love looks good on me.” Will Carter Band makes you believe it.
There’s a lot of songs about viewing someone in love from a third party perspective. “You Look So Good In Love” by George Strait and “You Look Like A Love Song” by Russell Dickerson, etc. I thought it would be cool to write about the inverse of that, from a first person perspective. ‘Your Love Looks Good On Me’ is a fun way of expressing the acknowledgement of that inward observation. – Will Carter
