“Long Straight Line” is Sean on lead vocals and acoustic guitar; and Carter Green on background vocals, electric guitar, drums, organ, and bass. The lyrics on this are stirring: “there’s a long straight line / between your heart and mine / the ties that bind and the ways that we find the creases in the folds.” Sean Magwire has something to share in this song about the abiding connections between family and beloved friends, and those who listen will be glad they did. A rootsy rock band vibe supports it all.
“Long Straight Line” is a song that was born during the long hours out on the road playing shows last year. It is difficult being physically separated from the people you care for and I wrote this song for my wife and kids as a reminder that no matter where we are in the world, we are always connected by our love. – Sean Magwire
