Video Premiere: Aaron Bibelhauser “Gather Round”

Listen & Watch Video Premieres

Americana Highways brings you this twin video premiere of Aaron Bibelhauser’s song “Gather Round,” which was written to celebrate the opening of the 61st Season of Kentucky Shakespeare that will be returning Live in Central Park in Louisville, KY, again this year after the pandemic reopenings.

This song was engineered and mixed by Aaron Bibelhauser at The Quilted Window in Louisville, Kentucky. Mastering is courtesy of Donnie Bott of BBD Labs in Louisville.

“Gather Round” is Aaron Bibelhauser on vocals, guitar, piano, bass, and pedal steel; and Jesse Hall on drums.

After a year and a half of varying levels of isolation from our work, loved ones, and creative outlets, it’s become strikingly obvious that art creators, and the audiences who consume them, are vital parts of our communities. My new single, “Gather Round” was inspired by this vitality, specifically surrounding my dear friends at the Kentucky Shakespeare Festival. Not unlike the towering trees and cobblestone alleys surrounding Louisville’s Central Park, the magic of live music, theater, and celebration are timeless testaments to our human experience. “Gather Round” is my attempt to express a bit of gratitude for the art, culture, and experiences that makes us who we are.  — Aaron Bibelhauser

There are two versions of the video.   One is footage of Aaron playing, and the other is a more natural video of the park and the stage within the park.  The acoustic video was created by Brad Weston and Neil Johnstone. The video in the park is courtesy of Abby Sage.

In every setting, though, Bibelhauser’s music is warm and relaxing, 1970’s folk throwback style.

Savor and enjoy each one:
