Americana Highway presents this premiere of Nate Smith’s album By the Door, due to be available September 25. By the Door was produced by Nate Smith, mixed by Mark Howard, and mastered by John Greenham.
Musicians on the album are Nate Smith on vocals, guitar and harmonica; Craig Woods on banjo, Hammond B3 and vocals; and Kyle Mann on keyboard, drums and vocals.
Pleading and heartfelt, though the kind of sorrowful song that electric guitars capture best, By the Door is a delight of sad song emotion and sound. A mixture of electric rock with banjo and a base of heavy tears, this is an album you’ll leave in your headphones from start to finish.
