My heart hurts for the division many of us feel among our human family, as well as the troubles in our natural world. “Pray For Rain” is a plea for understanding and direction. It’s hope for healing, and love – above all else. For so many different factors to have aligned to have my heroes, music legends Blind Boys of Alabama, sing on this song in particular is a dream come true and profound honor. They’ve inspired hope for 8 decades despite adversity and obstacles with their music. It is my hope that this song continues that legacy. — Kristen Englenz
