Pam Ross “Who’s Gonna Save Me?”

Americana Highways presents this video premiere of Pam Ross’s song “Who’s Gonna Save Me?” from her forthcoming album, which was produced by Pam with co-production by FJ Ventre.  It was mixed and mastered in Nashville by Marc Frigo.

“Who’s Gonna Save Me?” is Pam Ross on lead and backing vocals, acoustic rhythm guitar, keyboard, and organ; Yvan Petit on lead guitar and electric rhythm guitar; FJ Ventre on bass; and George Hindinach on drums and percussion.

As Pam tells us about this song, ” Sometimes there aren’t any happy endings. Our inner demon spews thoughts of self-doubt, failure, self-loathing, hopelessness, and self-destruction while wrapping us up in a blanket of psychological self-sabotage. No matter what we’ve accomplished, we feel like a failure. Whatever is left…burn it down. Often, our hardest battles are fought within. God and those in our life can try to help, but in the end, no can save us from ourselves.”

What’s more iconic that writing a song about starting over, in front of a campfire? This footage of Pam writing and playing the song is chef’s kiss for a song that we can all relate to at the deepest level. She really nails it with “all alone at the center of a crowded room, you pray for the strength to just let go….”
