Matthias Lamparter “Concrete Cowboy”
Americana Highways brings you this premiere of Matthias Lamparter’s song “Concrete Cowboy” from his forthcoming album 15 Seconds of Fame, set for release later this summer. The album was produced by Matthias Lamparter and Chris Silverio; engineered by Ethan Howard with assistance by Max Langlinais; mixed by Caleb Ockkowski with additional mixing by Chris Silverio; and mastered by Adam Grover.
“Concrete Cowboy” is Matthias Lamparter on vocals, acoustic and lead guitars; David Chubirka on additional lead guitar; Dusty McKee of (Brother Dusty) on bass; Marcus Clonts on drums; and Sean (Sal) Lambert on saxophone.
As Matthias told us about the song, “Concrete Cowboy brings you in with a honest story and a thunderous bass line and sends you off dancing in the storm.”
Dark bass lines start the song and then spoken with with clicks, this is a modern country style song, and later the sax adds a Western feel to the mix, it’s quite remarkable how the mix sets up and play out. “Oh mama no I don’t want this life, it wants me, I’m just another concrete cowboy looking for love.”
