Craig Greenberg “Some Peace of Mind”
Americana Highways is hosting this premiere of Craig Greenberg’s song “Some Peace of Mind” from his forthcoming album set for release in 2026. The song was produced and mixed by Wayne Silver and Craig Greenberg at the Ice Plant in Long island city, and mastered by Alex Psaroudakis
“Some Peace of Mind” is Craig Greenberg on vocals, piano, organ, and percussion; Hiroyuki Matsuura on drums; Tony Tino on bass; Indofunk Satish on trumpet; Seth Eisenstein on saxophone
Craig tells us: “The song is about feeling having found, for really the first time in my life, some sense of inner peace. It was long fought, and took me into my 40s, but it feels good to be in a place where I don’t easily go off the rails from daily dramas like I did when I was younger. The song also has a message of resilience, of moving forward no matter what, through turning experience and hardships into art.”
This is the first song of Craig’s ever to feature horns. Horns and uptempo bluesy piano meld together to lay down the foundation of hard driving’ optimism: “I’ve had hard times but never do they last / step outside and breathe the morning light / I know I’ll get there in the end / yes, I’ll find peace of mind.” This is exactly the song we need to throw off anxiety and the blues in a cork-popping cathartic jamboree.
