The album was produced By Ken Coomer, mixed by Gabe Masterson, and mastered by Jonathan Pines. “She’s In Richmond” was written by Levi Foster, Lee Tucker, Blue Foley, and Chris Buck.
“She’s in Richmond” is Levi Foster on lead and background vocals, and acoustic guitar: Ken Coomer on drums; Joe McMahan on electric guitar; and Ted Pecchio on bass.
This video was created by Scot Sax. This song is hooky and memorable, with a finger snapping’ groove and a tale of working hard for someone amazing back home: “burning it up in all directions, out here trying to get some traction, make a whole lotta money for a little ol’ diamond ring.” There’s a little bit of uncertainty in the mix, since she’s in Richmond after all. But there’s no doubt about the power of the song in its easygoing classic country glory.
I was living in my van soon after moving to Nashville when I came up with the hook, ‘I’m in love and she’s in Richmond.’ Being a Virginia native, I was missing home at the time, so I wanted to write a song about a guy on the road rushing to get back home. The song is straight down the middle, with some ‘90s rock influence along with the vibe of some ‘70s groove bands. – Levi Foster
