Collaborations: A Fusion of Purpose and Melody – “Let The Love In (feat. Anais Preller)”

Americana Highways brings you this premiere of the Collaborations project’s song “Let The Love In (feat. Anais Preller).” The forthcoming album Collaborations: A Fusion of Purpose and Melody is the brainchild of Ed Daniels, and this project came alive under the tutelage, production and management of Horizon Studios’ Vic Steffens. Each song on the collection was written arranged in echoes of ’60s, ’70s styles of music and recording production.

This song is Anais Preller on lead vocals; Matt Oestreicher on orchestrations and piano; Scott Spray on bass; Bobby Torello on drums; Tim DeHuff  on lead guitar; Ed Daniels on rhythm guitar; Simone Brown, Tonya Ricks, and Kyle Brown on backing vocals;  Café on percussion; Bill Holloman on horns and flute; Dave Eggar on strings, cello, and viola; and Xavi Morato on violin. Kevin Monroe arranged music and lead background vocals. It was produced by Vic Steffens and Matt Oestreicher; mastered by Vic Steffens with additional engineering by Mike Stephenson; and recorded at Horizon Recording Studio.

Collaborations

“The songs created by Collaborations evoke a positive message, and the proceeds from the group’s songs are donated to local charities,” songwriter Ed Daniels says, “I like people to walk away from hearing my songs with a sense of purpose, self-confidence and encouragement that things will get better.” Co-producer, orchestrator, music director, and keyboardist Matt Oestreicher, says, “This is the antidote to the mechanized world where people are glued to their phones, and songs are made on a computer. We offer a sense of humanity that cuts through the alienation that many of us feel today.”

The tight-knit group of musicians rally around Daniels’ songs under the supervision of producer, engineer, and founder of Horizon Studios, Vic Steffens. “Every instrument or voice you hear on Collaborations is real—Ed doesn’t cut corners,” Vic Steffens tells us. “These are new songs done old school style, real strings and horns.”

Oestreicher says, “The purpose of all of this is to share a disarmingly simple message of unity with people worldwide, and, in the process, build community through music”

“Bask in the feeling of love in the air” with horns, rich harmonies, and Anais Preller’s comforting flowy vocals. The style is carefree and easy ’70s. Find more details and information here: https://collaborationsmusic.com/
